Dr. Michael A. Civin is a major player in New York City’s psychological services community, just as he always has been throughout his nearly three-decade career. Civin, Ph.D and several colleagues founded Rose Hill Psychological Services back in 2007, he made sure it was located it in a specific area near Fordham University in the Bronx, where such services were not easily available.

The purpose behind the establishment of Rose Hill, in the mind of Michael A. Civin, Ph.D, at least, was to offer affordable high-quality psychological services to underserved populations at rates that made sense and fit the budgets of most working people. For more than a decade since, their services have been so popular, the operation has expanded to other locations, including an office on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and another in Mohegan Lake, New York. That means a lot of people are receiving mental health service they were previously unable to afford.
